The book also serves as a reminder to big media. All political scandals need to covered, and all crooked politicians need to exposed. The press is supposed to expose scandal, regardless of party affiliation. It's a lesson well taught within Caucus of Corruption's pages.
Big Dog's Weblog (also posted at BlogCritics Magazine):
I highly recommend Caucus of Corruption to anyone who wants to know how corruption is spread throughout our Congress. Margolis and Noonan do a great job of leveling the playing field and exposing the other side of the corruption, the side dismissed by the left and ignored by the media. Armed with this information and that which has been presented in the past, voters in America can better assess the jobs of those who portend to be above board and working in our best interests and then decide the best method to right this great ship.
My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy:
This scrutiny is long overdue. Just after a quick skim, I’ve read some examples of outrageous corruption about which I’d never heard a peep in the media.
The book is a reinforcement of what needs to be done by both sides of the aisle to repair the bipartisanship which is so necessary to Get Things Done in Washington, DC.
It's partisan, snarky, and a lot of fun.
[Caucus of Corruption] is a strikingly well-researched, handily portable compendium of a stunning glut of scandals and misdeeds, since respun and rebranded (though rarely refuted) by the new majority as "distractions" and "smears".
This book is the most comprehensive look yet at the lies, hypocrisy and corruption that is today's democrat party.
Learn what our lamestream media won't report and the Democrat party ignores. See for yourself that the Corruption in Washington D.C. isn't so one-sided as claimed during the 2006 campaign.
[...] Nothing fits the pieces of the puzzle all together to show just how deeply entrenched the Democratic party is in their own culture of corruption better than the book Caucus of Corruption.
